The 50over50 Project is complete, but the portrait experience continues.
After seven years, two groups of extraordinary women, and hundreds of stories, the 50over50 Project has reached its final chapter.
All 100 places in our final Pittsburgh group have been filled, and the final portrait session has now been photographed.
On November 5, 2026, we’ll gather one last time for the final 50over50 Gallery Exhibition, celebrating these women, their portraits, and the stories they chose to preserve.

50OVER50 WAS MORE THAN A PORTRAIT PROJECT
100 WOMEN. 100 PORTRAITS. 100 STORIES.
Over seven years, the 50over50 Project brought together women in their 50s, 60s, 70s and beyond to be photographed, celebrated, and documented.
Each woman came with a different story and a different reason for stepping in front of my camera. Some wanted to mark a milestone. Some wanted photographs their children and grandchildren would someday treasure. Some simply wanted to see themselves differently.
What began as a portrait project became something much larger: a celebration of visibility, connection, story, and the richness of women’s lives after 50.
And while the official 50over50 Project has now reached its final chapter, the portrait experience continues.

The session fee is $1490 and allows us to hold your spot on one of our designated dates and book in your hair and makeup artist. It also covers your consultation, photoshoot, expert retouching, 3 digital images.
If you’d like to upgrade to our custom session on a day convenient to you, with extra time for more outfits, the session fee is $2400 and includes a $2000 image credit. Inquire for more details.

Once you've seen your images, you are welcome to purchase more for 225ea a la carte or Buy2Get1.
Or you can apply $1000 of your session fee towards artwork and/or an image bundle that includes both physical matted fine art prints and the matching digital.
We do accept credit cards and offer payment plans. We want every one of our clients to feel thrilled with their experience. There is never any pressure and you only buy what you love!

All sessions will take place at our studio in Carnegie. It's on the 2nd floor, so if you have any mobility issues, please mention them and we will make arrangements to shoot in a space on the first floor.

We'll guide you on what to wear during the consultation and even hook you up with a stylist if you like. It all depends on how YOU want to be photographed... casual & cozy to glitzy & glam! Your session includes 3-4 outfit changes so there's lots of opportunity to mix it up!

We’d love to capture the connection between you and your special loved ones. If this is of interest, we would just upgrade you to a custom session. Please reach out to discuss your vision.

We know life happens! With that said, when you book your appointment, your hair and makeup artist is also booked in just for you. You may reschedule at no charge with at least 7 days notice. If we have less than 7 days notice or if it's a second time rescheduling, we do need to charge a $150 rescheduling fee.

Why?
WHY OVER 50, WHY ME & WHY NOW?
When I began the 50over50 Project seven years ago, I wanted to challenge the idea that women somehow become less visible, less interesting, or less worthy of being photographed as they age.
What I found was much bigger.
Again and again, I met women who were deeply aware of the lives they had built, the people they had become, and the years still ahead of them. They wanted to be seen as they are now. They wanted photographs that reflected the women they had become. And many wanted to preserve something meaningful for the people they love.
Over time, 50over50 became more than a portrait project. It became an exploration of identity, visibility, story, connection, and legacy.
The official project has reached its final chapter, but those questions continue to shape the work I do today.
